On September 24, 2016 Korean Day Festival has successfully brought the best in Korean culture and entertainment at Eastwood Park.

Hosted by the Korean Society of Sydney, the Korean Day Festival is the biggest annual event of the Korean community in Sydney, promoting Korean culture to many other multicultural people in Sydney.

NSW Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation Victor Dominello said We need to take time away from our busy world to enjoy traditional cultures.

Member for Strathfield Jodi McKay said We obviously have so many people who live in Eastwood, but importantly people from my area, Strathfield as well. I think this festival brings the Korean community together but also highlights what is special about the Korean Australian community.

An Australian visitor to the event, Matt Jones said The festival is a celebration of Korean in Australia but this is incapacity to bring the foreigners or Australians into the festival. I thought the promotion of the event is one of the problems.

A Media startup, ERASEVENs Trista Jeong and Chloe Hwang said This festival is a great opportunity for us to promote the ERASEVENs Facebook page, HOALD to many Korean people here. ERASEVEN now has its own website providing a variety of useful information to our targeted Korean viewers who live in Australia.
