An A-League grand final in New Zealand isn't off the table, as clubs get set to return to training this week.


The league's 11 clubs are set to undergo COVID-19 testing for players and staff on Monday, with training to resume this week.

Despite not yet resolving a contract dispute with host broadcaster Fox Sports, Football Federation Australia are pushing ahead with a plan to resume the league on July 16.

The plan is to play the remaining games of the season across a 28-day period before embarking on a one-week finals campaign.
