Hand sanitiser has become a daily routine. Thanks to COVID19. Is it safe to use a hand sanitiser for children? Are commercial hand sanitisers really work? Can hand sanitisers with high alcohol content replaces our booze? SBS Korean program digs out the truth of hand sanitisers.


Since the Therapeutic Goods Administration eased regulations on hand sanitisers in March, numerous types of hand sanitisers have been pouring into the market.

Consumer group Choice announced a hand sanitiser product sold in a woman's fashion outlet was failed a lab test. The product was labelled that It contained 70%-alcohol, but the test arranged by the consumer group showed it only contained 23% alcohol.

Are all hand sanitisers in market safe? Is it safe for children to use a hand sanitiser? What will happen if you drink hand sanitiser? Sounds weird, but it has been happening.
