Korean speaking Aussie Michael Kocken often gets a question from Australian business men why a lot of people brush their teeth at an office in Korea and a vice-versa question from Korean company men.


Michael Kocken speaking Korean fluently has been working in the Trade and Investment sectors between Australia and Korea since 2011. Michael who worked four years in Seoul has continued his career in the business sectors connecting both countries after he returned to his homeland Australia in 2013.

Michael who has a great deal of personal experience and interest in the Korean corporate culture shares his view and thoughts on it.

How often do you brush your teeth? 

Do you brush three times a day including at work? 

Michael discusses teeth, more specifically the brushing of teeth in the Korean workplace and his first-hand (sometimes funny) experiences with brushing teeth during work hours.
