Hong Kong spends the most per capita on advertising. The USA follows with Australia in third.
WARC, the marketing intelligence service, released the latest Global AD trends report and revealed that Hong Kong spends the most per capita on advertising (US$782.33). The USA (US$523.74) follows with Australia (US$467.18) in third. WARC survey of AD spend involves input from partners in 96 markets.
The reported said that the value of the US ad market remained unchanged in the decade between 2006 and 2015 but the value of China's market grew 3.5 times during this period.
