A new deal struck between Australia and New Zealand's leaders will make it easier for thousands of Kiwis to gain Australian citizenship.
New Zealanders are going to be given the opportunity to become Australian citizens following an easing of restrictions.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced the deal after meeting with his NZ counterpart John Key in Sydney.
