Australian Korean War Veterans Night by consulate general of the republic of Korea in Melbourne was held.
Around 180 guests including Hon. John Eren, Minister for Veterans Affairs, Cr Catherin Cumming, Mayor of City of Maribyrnong and MAJGEN David McLachlan AO, President of RSL Victoria Branch participated in.
The Consulate-General of Republic of Korea in Melbourne Mr Hongju Jo addressed the visitors a hearty welcome and thanked warmly to veterans.

After speeches, medal presentation ceremony has been conducted. Mr Vic Dey OAM, National President of the Korea Veterans Association of Australia and Mr. Jong Gon Choi, President of Melbourne Korean War Memorial Committee were awarded the medals from Korean Government.
