Beauty of “K-Paper(Hanji)” to resonate with Australians

The Korean Cultural Centre in Australia holds the Hanji Festival which will showcase Hanji fashioin show, Hanji craft exhibition, Hanji market and Hanji workshop from 15th of February to 29th of February 2016 at its hall in Sydney.


Korean Cultural Centre in collaboration with Millennium Jeonju Hanji Forum will hold K-PAPER(Hanji) Culture Festival in Sydney on 15th February which runs through 29th February.

The festival will offer various Hanji programs including fashion show, craft workshop, paper market and exhibition at Korean Cultural Centre in Sydney.

In the Hanji craftwork exhibitions, traditional craftworks and artworks using Hanji will be exhibited, and visitors can buy the Hanji craft works at the paper market.

The workshop has various session for folding fans, dakpaper dolls, jewelry and paper strings.

Clara Kim speaks to Sin-Young An, the director of Korean Cultural Centre along with his assistant Saeyoung Park in charge of the upcoming festival.
