Also, Statista company predicted that, it will be increasing 3 per cent CAGR until 2021. Bottled water market is 2nd largest Australian beverage industry after carbonated drink market. Annual report in Coca cola Amatil said that bottled water is one of the biggest cash cows for the company including carbonated drink and energy drink portfolios.
Roy Morgan research data (2015) said that, 27.1 per cent of Australian over 14 years old (5 million 300,000 people) takes bottled water in last 7 days. And, women (29.7%) more likely takes bottled water than men (24.5%).
