K-Pop boy band Boyfriend's leader DongHyun did not hide his excitement of the upcoming concerts in Sydney to mark the Lunar New Year in a special interview with SBS Radio.


Boyfriend, one of the top Korean K-Pop boy bands and JJCC will perform for two nights only at Carriageworks in February for the first time in Australia.

Carriageworks has partnered with the City of Sydney and SBS PopAsia to present K-Pop Party as part of the 2016 Sydney Chinese New Year Festival at Carriageworks.

Boyfriend is a six-member South Korean boy group consisting of Kim DongHyun, Shim HyunSeong, Lee JeongMin, Cho YoungMin, Cho KwangMin and Noh MinWoo.

They debuted on Mnets M! Countdown in 2011 with their 1st single album Boyfriend and have been a global phenomenon since. Boyfriend has more than 3 million followers around the world on their Facebook page.

Boyfriend has a huge following in Australia and have become one of the most popular K-Pop bands in the world today and now Sydney fans have a chance to see them perform at Carriageworks.
