SBS Korean program explores what aged services CASS provides to the Korean community, interviewing with a service development officer, Pauline Kim.


CASS 'Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) service' provides more flexible options to assist older people to improve their independence, function, and wellbeing.

The service to those seniors who have a functional decline, supporting them with short term (up to 8 weeks), flexible and intensive service to restore their ability and well-being, thereby deferring their entry into higher levels of care.

In addition, CASS aged day activity groups are run entirely by volunteers without Government funding. There are Korean Aged Day activity groups running in Ashfield, which goes on a weekly basis.
