With a huge program including plenty of food, entertainment, and free activities in Lunar New Year festival, this is an event for the whole family to enjoy.


This year, Parramatta council has celebrated the Lunar New Year with an exciting and colourful program showcasing traditional and contemporary cultural performances, including Korean drumming, K-Pop dancers, Lion & Dragon dance, local favourites, Sophia Bridget Dalisay and Marcus Rivera, Katrina & the Wonderdogs, and special international guest performers, Wuhan Peking Opera Company from China, and Pyeong taek Nong Ak Percussion team from South Korea.

The family friendly Lunar Land has given a fantastic experience with new workshops and free activities for everyone. The Korean Cultural Centre has made a partnership with Parramatta Lunar New Year festival and provided a variety of events such as making Bibimbab, wearing the Korean traditional clothes (Han-bok) and Kopop dancing performances.
