Climate change wars reignite in Canberra

Climate change is once again consuming debate in Canberra as the major political parties trade blows over carbon emissions.


The Morrison government has gone on the attack after Labor reaffirmed its commitment to a net zero emissions target by 2050, without including costings or economic modelling.

Australian business and industry groups, along with all the states and territories and more than 70 other countries, support such a target.
