Labor plans to save $448 million over four years by scrapping the coalition's climate solutions fund while the coalition vows to cut energy prices by 25 per cent.


Abolishing the coalition's climate solutions fund would save $448 million over four years, Labor says.

The fund was set up in 2014 under the Abbott government and pays companies for a range of carbon abatement programs, from vegetation management to energy efficiency and transport.

Emissions have risen under the policy.
