Perth Glory’s Asian Champions League debut season could be short-lived with the tournament’s governing body calling an emergency meeting to discuss its future amid concerns of the growing coronavirus outbreak.

Glory have played just one group game - going down 1-0 to FC Tokyo – and are due to play their next match on March 18 at HBF Park against Ulsan after it was re-scheduled from Wednesday in Korea. The return fixture has been pencilled in for April 7 at Munsu stadium.

The Asian Football Confederation agreed to the moves after Glory said they were prepared to face a three-year ban and a $50,000 fine by not sending players and staff to Korea to play in a closed stadium.
