Most people who become Australian citizens must take a short online test. Would you pass the test?
Since 2007, more than 650,000 people have taken Australia's online citizenship test.
A little more than 7,200 people (1.1 per cent) have failed since testing started.
The government says the test ensures applicants have a basic knowledge of the English language, an adequate knowledge of Australia and of the responsibilities and privileges of citizenship and an understanding of the nature of their application.
The test asks questions about Australias political system and values, and is a requirement for most people who apply for citizenship in Australia.
Many are exempt from sitting the test, including people younger than 18 and older than 60 years of age and people who have impaired vision or hearing.
People who fail three times are able to take a course-based test run over 20 hours. More than 2,600 people have done so, the Australian government says.
