For the past of 10 years, music director & conductor, Jin Won Jang, and members of the SKWO have tirelessly sought to broaden their musical repertoire with great passion and zeal. This 10th anniversary concert will celebrate their milestone, which was not without blood, sweat and tears. In 2014, the Sydney Korean Wind Orchestra won 1st place at the Australian National Band championship and 3rd place in the following year.
In 2011 and 2013, the SKWO participated in Jeju International Wind Festival which gathered more than 4000 musicians from all over the world. In 2018, the SKWO was invited to perform at Sung Nam International Wind Festival among participants from 6 other countries.
The SKWO has been invited to perform again this year, along with an opening performance for the Kim Hae city’s big event, Korean National Wind competition, that will take place.

The SKWO’s 10th anniversary concert consists of Vocal and wind instruments mixed with ‘Ben-hur’
Movie Sound track and contemporary music. It provides a magnificent and delicate sound with emotion and joy. A pro clarinetist, Yong Keun Lee, will greet you on the stage.
