Bora Hwasook Lee is one of the foremost fashion designers in Australia and she was renowned for designing Jennifer Hawkins' winning Miss Universe gown.


Bora Hwasook Lee is one of the foremost fashion designers in Australia. She was renowned for designing Jennifer Hawkins' winning Miss Universe gown. The multi award-winning designer launched Bora label in  1999, and many celebrities have loved her Bora dresses in Australia including world-class model Miranda Kerr, talk show host Kerri-Anne Kennerley, the first female governor-general Dame Quentin Bryce and so on.

In 2005, Bora Hwasook Lee expanded her business to Korea by launching a high fashion brand Bora Korea. A year later, she started a new home shopping label called Hwa Sook Lee.

Bora Hwasook Lee is preparing fashion shows for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane on August 30, 2018. She told SBS Korean program as she wishes the peace of the Korean peninsula, she chooses Korean anthem and Arirang for her background music of the show.
