Korean film A Single Rider is now screening in the 8th Korean Film Festival in Australia which launched in Sydney on 17 August 2017.
A single rider is the first Korean film shot substantially in Australia. The film shows Koreans star Byung-hun Lee and Hyo-jin Kong and K-Pop idol So-hee An and Australias Jack Campbell walking around Sydneys iconic Opera House, Harbour bridge and Bondi beach.
The movie is about Korean people living in Australia for many different reasons. Some familiar stories occurred in Korean community around in Australia can be seen in the movie such as, currency exchange fraud targeting working holiday makers and suffering wild goose families.
Zoo-young Lee, the director of A Single Rider talks about her motive of the production and send some messages to Korean audience in Australia.
