The Korean Cultural Centre Australia showcases a special exhibition Dissolve: Inspiration by Korea featuring five Australian artists who have been inspired by Korean art and culture.


How can Korean art be recreated by Australian artists with special links with Korea?

The Korean Cultural Centre Australia launches a special exhibition ‘Dissolve:  Inspiration by Korea’ featuring five Australian artists who have been inspired by Korean art and culture.

38 works including painting, fibre, textile and Hanji (Traditional Korean paper) crafts by Yvonne Boag, Jan Coveney, Catherine O’Leary, Marianne Penberthy and Maryanne Wick have shown the artists own personal experience of Korea.

SBS Korean program meets Jan Coveney and Catherine O’Leary on the opening night.
