The rise of Islamic State in the Middle East and events in Australia like the Lindt café siege have drawn attention to radical Islamic groups both here and overseas.

 

Some Muslims and Arabs living in Australia have reported incidents of harassment online and in public places, and negative media attention.

 

That's led to concerns that these experiences could be affecting their mental health.
