Rabbit Proof Fence (2002) is based on a true story of three aboriginal girls who returned to their families by walking for nine weeks along 1,500 miles of rabbit proof fence under the White Australian Policy at the time.

Red Dog(2011) is also based on a true story of people and a dog living in Dampier area in Western Australia, describing the daily lives of mining people and the realistic aspects of mining industry in Australia.

Crocodile Dundee (1986) is a action comedy film set in the Australian Outback and in New York City, showing the global stereotypical images for Australian people in 20th century.
