[Education Anatomy] 'Maker Education', the Great Symphony of Space and Making

Global toy retailer ‘Toys R Us’ reopened it’s doors in Australia with a couple of “Experience centres” which will be launched at the start of 2020. The movement has brought focus on educational experience through the act of making to children.


Maker education is a recent trend in education industry together with STEM education. The aim of maker education is to improve students’ creativity through supporting them to make actual products or physical inventions with tools including 3D printer or computers.

NSW government has encouraged schools to introduce maker education to classrooms, and through the association with councils, proper maker spaces has been provided to students and schools where they can actually make their ideas come true.
