The Weekly Media Inside analyses Ch 9's coverage that a Sydney Man who forced a teenager to set fire to a Korean sex worker whom he had been obsessed with has had increased jail sentence by four years at appeal court.


Ch 9 reported Mohammed Ali Fouani who hired a teenager boy to set fire to a Korean sex worker whom he was infatuated with was sentenced extra jail term on October 16, 2018 at appeal court.

Fouani was jailed for 14 years with a non-parole period of 10 years and six months last year after he was found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and recruiting a child to carry out criminal activity on the Korean woman in 2012.

Ch 9 reported that the Korean woman on a student visa suffered burns to 45 per cent of her body and permanent scarring.
