Korean artist Joung-kuk Lee presents how to make wooden chopsticks which were used 1,000 years ago in Korea.


The Korean Cultural Centre Australia  has presented a special exhibition entitled 'Feast of K-Chopsticks' as part of the Sydney Craft week.

The exhibition sponsored by Cheongju City and the Cheongju Cultural Industry Foundation, South Korea showcases about 500 craft practices on chopsticks from Korea.

A performance by Solwot, traditional percussion team, launched the opening night followed by a demonstration of making chopsticks by artist Joung-kuk Lee.

As chopsticks are one of the most commonly used tools around the world, various types of chopsticks from different counties are showcased in the exhibition.
