Su Jeong Kim, born in Korea, who graduated from Ewha Womans University in Korea and earned her Masters and Bachelors Degree in Dance, joined the Kibbutz Dance Contemporary Dance Company (KDCD) in 2014, as the first Korean dancer.
The KDCD, one of the leading dance companies in the world and their great conceit is its technically strong and physically eclectic cast of dancers and its dynamic sensibility.
Kim and Jin Hwan Suck who joined in KCDC last year are the only Korean dancers in KCDC and stands shoulder to shoulder with many great dancers of the world.
Kim had been the backbone of TAM Dance Company and Korean National Contemporary Dance Company (KNCDC) which were one of leading contemporary dance groups in Korea. She has also worked as a choreographer in Korea.
As an elder dancer and one of the only Korean dancers of KCDC, Kim showed great pride.
Kim has worked in the contemporary dance field as a teacher, choreographer and dancer, but said she is at her happiest when appearing on stage as a dancer.
