1. Melbourne City have got massive problems

 

They will definitely be without Bruno Fornaroli, Luke Brattan, Osama Malik, Fernando Brandan and Manny Muscat, each of whom received his fifth yellow card for the season in the 2-1 loss to Melbourne Victory, and Tim Cahill, who was red-carded, for Saturday's game against Brisbane Roar.

 

2. The door to the top four is open again

 

Not so long ago it looked like Sydney FC, Melbourne Victory, Brisbane Roar and Melbourne City had shut the door on any other teams with designs on finishing in the top four.
