Korean designer Yoonkyung Jang’s garments with Kimchi theme were presented on the runway of FOMA. Australian Hanbok designer Miranda Day’s Australian style Hanbok also showcased in the exhibits.


Fashions of Multicultural Australia(FOMA) presents diversity that makes the multicultural landscape of Australia through its runway show and Foreign Embassy Exhibits. 

The event aims to foster social cohesion and strengthen bilateral trade between participating nations through fashion and cultural diplomacy.

The event supported by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Australia Korean Foundation works with one country partner annually, and in the second year’s event held on March 1, 2019, that partner was the Republic of Korea. 

SETSETSET’s designer Yoonkyung Jang presented ten garments with Kimchi theme on the runway and Australian Hanbok designer Miranda Day’s showcased her Hanboks made with Australian textile in the exhibits.
