This week's Book Club features "Food reminiscent of our childhood" written by Chan-il Park, a journalist-turned-chef and writer.

People ususally say "energy comes from meal' to connotate that more food will bring about more energy.

People have a fantasy that we have to eat something delicious to alleviate their sense of emptiness when they are angry, distressed, exhausted and lonely, which could be described as 'emotional hunger' in medical terms.

Sharing food and communicating each other give emotional satisfaction. Medically , emotional exhaustion and emptyness revitalize the glucose and enhance the brain,

Satisfaction of having tasty food is reducing the stress hormone and it stabilizing the autonomic nervous system .

This book showcases your own soul food by reminiscing the childhood.
