Sydney Derby is a game between Western Sydney Wanderers and Sydney FC.


Sydney Derby is a game between Western Sydney Wanderers and Sydney FC.

The Derby is interesting as there is no certain division between Western Sydney and the rest. The word Wanderers was used to represent immigrant society vastly present in Western Sydney but its hard to say there are not many immigrants living in other area, where Sydney FC fans are based. The grey area between where Western Sydney and Sydney FC is what makes the Derby interesting.

One thing that is different would be active supporters. Wanderers’ active supporters, RBB, are more energetic, loud and systematic, in my opinion. Whereas Sydney Fc active supporters are influenced by the game itself and has more freedom in how they support.
