The first global K-Storyteller Seung Ah Kim performed in Australia where she was part of the Sydney International Storytelling Conference.


Seung Ah Kim is the first global K-storyteller in Korea who inspired by the Korean folk tales.

Love for stories has been running in her family for such a long time. Her first source of the stories was her grandmother who used to tell stories to Seung Ah to soothe crying babies.

Seung Ah, the former English teacher became a storyteller telling Korean folktales in English to the international audience after she experienced her first storytelling concert in Canada in 2007

Seung Ah visited Australia in July 2018 as she was invited to the Sydney International Storytelling Conference. While she was staying in Sydney she performed a few times in Sydney, Canberra and Blue Mountain. Seung Ah who has the ambition to share the Korean stories with 1 million people in the world joined SBS Korean program.
