The board of MBC has announced a former MBC PD Seungho Choi was selected to take up the top position of a Korea's major natioanl broadccaster MBC.

The news Managing Director Seungho Choi was sacked more than 3 yeasrs ago by the broadcaster over the huge controversy over the partial reports on mad cow fiasco and the direct involvement in the illegal strke.
Three candidates, including him took part in the final round interview.
Amid this, the Seoul Southern District Court turned down yesterday an injunction request by some conservative board officials to cancel MBC's decision to fire its former chief Kim Jang-kyom.
The foundation passed a motion last month to remove Kim from the post, citing his political bias.
