Perth home prices surged 1.0 per cent and Brisbane prices jumped 0.9 per cent last week, but Adelaide's slumped 0.9 per cent, according to CoreLogic.

Perth home prices surged 1.0 per cent and Brisbane prices jumped 0.9 per cent last week, but Adelaide's slumped 0.9 per cent, according to CoreLogic.


Home prices across Australia's five major capital cities rose 0.4 last week with the number of new listings continuing to fall.

Perth home prices rose 1.0 per cent and Brisbane prices lifted 0.9 per cent in the week. Adelaide was the only major capital to record a fall in prices, with a 0.3 per cent decline.

The total number of listings across Australia's eight capitals fell 8.5 per cent in the week ending January 29, compared to the same time last year, property market analytics firm CoreLogic data showed on Monday.
