Around 160 Korean students who want to get valuable information as a job seeker in Australia came to seminar.
Hongju Jo, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea presented the Australian jobs trends and cheered the Korean students up to succeed in their journey in Australia.
Gary Lee, International student and youth project officer for City of Melbourne advised that starting from volunteering program is a good pathway to find job opportunity in Australia because they can meet many local friends, understand different culture and get a good experience by volunteering job.
Greg Moore, General Manager of Crown Promena de Melbourne said, students should create and manage their own brand, Me and they should create their own story with the point of difference.
24 Korean mentors who settled in various Australian societies including IT, Nurse, Accounting, Media, Health, Hospitality and so on, met international students and consult them as a mentor.
Hee-Seung Yang, Assistant Professor for Monash University and one of mentors for this seminar, recommended students to plan Honours program in study and try to get an opportunity for the internship program.
