Hundreds of Australians overseas come back home

More and more Australians overseas have been landing at international airports in major captial cities.


The first of two flights bringing Australians home from India, amid the coronavirus crisis, has landed in Adelaide.

About 370 passengers onboard the Lion Air flight touched down this morning [[mon 20 april]].

The repatriated Australians will enter a 14-day mandatory quarantine and will be tested and monitored daily for symptoms.

A second flight and carrying about the same number of people is expected tomorrow [[tues 21 april]].
