What is the implication of the outcome of the Bennelong by-election in the perspective of a Korean speaking rank and file member of the Liberal Party who has led the community's campaign for John Alexander?


The Bennelong battle is over with the retainment by John Alexander of the Liberal Party.

It was widely anticipated that the outcome of the Bennelong by-election on Saturday would be likely to be decided by the Asian community. 

In particular the Labor Party's campaign blitz targeting Korean community sparked disagreement to whether it managed to enhance the Korean community's support for Kristina Keneally or brought about a backfire on her.
