“Impossible to step down before the Court closing the impeachment case?”

Rumours are circulating that President Park Geun-hye may step down before the Constitutional Court makes its ruling on her impeachment.


The Constitutional Court is set to hear closing arguments on 27th Feb in the impeachment case against President Park Geun-hye.

 

Meanwhile rumors are spreading that Park is trying to make a deal allows her to step down in return for escaping prosecution.

 

Korean political commentator SJ Suh says President Park would not step down because she seems to believe that she has not done something wrong and thats not her usual style.

 

In North Korea, Pyongyang's state-run KCNA news agency has blamed South Korea for the death of one of its citizens.
