Job advertisements posted on the internet grew by a further 1.2 per cent in January to be 10.6 per cent higher over the year.


Australia's record run of employment growth looks set to continue with job advertisements posted on the internet rising a further 1.2 per cent in January.

The Department of Jobs and Small Business said job ads rose in all eight of the occupational groups it monitors during the month, led by a 2.3 per cent increase in demand for machinery operators and drivers.

Job ads rose in all jurisdictions apart from the ACT.
