SBS Korean program meets his Excellency Mr Baek-Soon Lee, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Australia to discuss issues including North Korean nuclear negotiation and human rights.


SBS Korean program meets his Excellency Mr Baek-Soon Lee, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Australia to discuss issues including North Korean nuclear negotiation and human rights.

Mr Lee says his experience in Australia has made him believe South Korea and Australia can be a perfectly matching partner.

“Both nations should strengthen a strategic cooperative partnership,” he says.

In regards to North Korean nuclear issue, it seems necessary for international society including Australia maintain their strong view on sanctions against North Korea.

However, Mr Lee says when it comes to inter-Korean and US-North Korean relationship some sanction should be eased in a bid to make progress.
