A Korean American K-Pop heartthrob and TV star Eric Nam is set to retunn to Australia next month with a run of headline shows.

One of South Korea’s hottest singer-songwriters and entertainers, ERIC NAM, has expressed his excitements about the upcoming shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in an excluisve interview with SBS K-Entertainment, before the rendezvous with Australian fans in March.

Starting in Brisbane on March 8, show will continue in Sydney on 10th and in Melbourne on 11th.

Last seen wrangling sheep in Tasmania while filming an episode of the Korean reality TV show “Wizard of Nowhere” in 2017, the GQ Korea “Man of the Year” will bring his signature mix of K-pop/R&B down-under for his first ever Australian headline shows since his showcase appearance in late 2014.

Born and raised in the U.S, Eric Nam is fluent in English, Korean and Spanish. Eric broke through as a top five finalist on the 2011 season of popular South Korean TV program “Birth of a Great Star 2”, a show similar to X Factor. His debut EP “Cloud 9” quickly followed and shoot him to fame in 2013 with its sweet, ballad-heavy tone.

In 2016 Eric released his first U.S. single ‘Into You’ premiering worldwide on Beats 1 Radio and The Fader – catching the attention of global media, branding him the new face of K-Pop. In the same year he released the Timbaland collaboration ‘BODY’, earning him the title of “Korea’s Bruno Mars meets Justin Timberlake”.

In April 2018 his EP “Honestly” debuted at #6 on the Billboard World Album Charts, followed by a subsequent North American tour through 15 cities – the best-selling tour of all time by a solo K-Pop artist. His follow-up, breezy electro-pop single ‘FLOAT’ featured on the soundtrack of Sony Pictures “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation”, hitting #1 at the North American box office upon its release.
