K-Identity explores the identity issues through an interview with a variety of second-generation Korean Australian professionals working in various fields of the Australian mainstream. Jonathan Shim and Jae-sung Park won gold medals at 2016 Sydney International Open Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship.

Australian-born Shim, a Research Radiation Therapist Specialist and Park, a chef at Japanese restaurant started Jiu-Jitsu about eight years ago, and won their weight divisions at 2016 Sydney International Open Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship, beating all the well-built foreigners.

Park was thrilled that he dominated bigger Western players who looked down on him, by using his extensive skills. Shim filled with pride when Korean players do very well at all the Jiu-Jitsu Championships.

The two Korean players said their goal is to run their own gym in Sydney and are hoping to see many Korean people in Australia start Jiu-Jitsu.
