Australias top short track speed skater Andy Jung take one step closer to his life time dream grabbing a Gold medal on Olympic Games.

Korean-Australian skater Andy Jung is the only Australian male short track skater going to the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games.

The twenty-year-old qualified to represent Australia in the 500m speed skating as well as 1500m competition.

The nation’s top skater was born in South Korea as Hyun Woo Jung and his family moved to Melbourne when he was 12 years old. He started to learn skating when he was looking for a sport that he could enjoy in Australia but his enormous achievement made it a serious business.

Jung became an Australian national player in a year since he started skating in 2012 and now looking for the life time opportunity in the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games.

Jung said “it’s fun to watch skating but it’s more fun to stake” during the interview with SBS Korean program.
