ABC introduced Korean-Australian speed skater Andy Jungs aspiration to help boost Australias tally in 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games.

The twenty-year old skater Andy Jung moved from Seoul to Melbourne in 2009 with his family. His parents had migrated into Australia to provide a quality life with less pressure to their two children.

However, the Korean-Australian skater returned to South Korea by leaving his parents behind in Melbourne for achieving his dream being selected for Australian team in short-track speed skating for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games.

Jung has been having training in Seoul since last December and his couch Jae-Su Chun said he is "pretty confident" for Jung to be qualified for the game.

Chun said in terms of top speed, acceleration and speed endurance Jung is pretty top-level in the world.

Jung said that he feels "proud" about getting a medal for Australia.
