In January, Mr Lee was driving from a work function at a Korean barbecue and his car crashed into a cage of canisters in the forecourt of a service station. Mr Lee left three colleagues seriously injured by car accident and fled a crash. After two weeks, he turned himself in.

Last weekend, he was sentenced to six months' jail, fined $400 and had his licence disqualified for three years at the Burwood Local Court. Defence lawyer filed an appeal and Lee was granted conditional bail.
