The Korean Cultural Centre in Sydney (Director S. Y. Ahn) has started running the 'Korean Mama's Storytelling' program at various Sydney Local Councils.


This program is presented regularly at Margaret Martin Library located in the Randwick Council, and other locations such as Bayside, Blacktown, Cumberland, Hornsby Shire, and Randwick City Councils are working towards hosting the program on regular basis.

Korean Mama's Storytelling program aims to arouse interest in Korean culture among preschool children from various backgrounds.

SBS Korean Program met with the storytellers of this program. Listen for their exciting performance of two well-known Korean folktales, 'The Sun and the Moon' and 'Bumpy Old Man', in English during this interview.
