Korean opera star Yonghoon Lee is down under to perform for OA's 2018 Aida

Internationally renowned Korean star tenor Yonghoon Lee plays the lead role of 'Radames' in Sydney Winter production of Aida, the most epic opera of all time.


Yonghoon has dazzled Australian audiences in his lead roles in some of the most famous operas including Carmen (2016), Turandot (2015), Tosca (2013), and now Aida this year. 
 
In 2015 he brought the house down with his sustained high note in Nessun Dorma in Opera Australia’s Turandot and, in 2016 he played the role of Don Jose in Carmen. 
 
He is indeed considered internationally as a leading tenor of his generation.
 
This new interpretation of Verdi’s world of Egypt, will convey the scale, depth and magnificence demanded by this monumental opera.  
Venue: Joan Sutherland Theatre, Sydney Opera House, till 31 August
