SBS Korean program’s soccer reporter Jun Lee reports about K-league’s sprit battles as well as a controversial moment during the Asian Champions League match.

K League has a different system for its league, where the league is split into upper and lower league after the league standing is decided next Saturday.

Upper split battles for league title and Asian champions league spot, whereas lower split battles for survival against relegation.

On the other hand, Kashima Antlers keeper Kwon Sun-Tae got into controversy , after kicking and head butting an Suwon Samsung’s player, Im Sang-Hyub, in their Asian Champions League match.

Controversy escalated when Kwon said in the interview that “i never wanted to lose against a Korean team”. This caused a huge upset as it is something that a Japanese player would say when playing against Korean team, due to a rivalry between two nations.

Lastly, Korean national team will play against Uruguay on 12th October and against Panama on 16th October. It is a squad that Paulo Bento picked himself and it is expected to show his true tactical colour with players of his preference.
