BLACKTOWN Council will build a Korean-themed garden in Schofields. The council said the Korean plaza is in the process of being designed and it is being designed by the Keim Yung University in Korea and UNSW.
Blacktown Mayor Stephen Bali said to Dailytelegraph that the Korean plaza will be a positive thing in the city. We have people from 144 nationalities living in Blacktown and this will be a something different for everyone to enjoy, Cr Bali told to Dailytelegraph.
In return, its South Korean sister city of Suseong-Gu will design an Australian-themed plaza in Suseong-Gu, Daegu, South Korea.
