The eye opener for all ages of diverse communities will be performed by Mr Dae-gyun Kim, who is internationally renowned as a virtuoso master of the tightrope performance.
The master spent 40 years on the tightrope until being accredited as the leading skill holder in Korea being registered as Koreas Important Intangible Cultural Heritage No.58 in the year 2000.
He then went on to becoming the top contributor in registering the performance as a UNESCO heritage in 2011.
The performance will showcase 46 different tightrope techniques from the master himself.
The tightrope dance which is utterly differentiated from a popular Australian extreme sport, slacklinging has 1,300 years of history and has been recognised by UNESCO as the official Korean performing art and an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
It is a distinctive form of tightrope walking that is accompanied by music and witty dialogue between the tightrope walker and an earthbound jester.
The tightrope performer executes a variety of acrobatic feats along with jokes, mimicry, songs and dance, while the jester engages the tightrope walker and the audience in humorous banter to create a dynamic mood of the performance.
