Yonhap News reported that Lim Kyung-wan extended the contract with Sydney Blue Sox for the 2016-17 ABL season.

Lim Kyung-wan from South Korean joined the Sydney Blue Sox for the 2015-16 ABL season, taking over the veteran reliever role held by Dae-Sung Koo.

Lim Kyung-wan joined the Lotte Giants in KBL in 1998, selected in the first round of the 1998 KBO Draft.
